Dripping Water

EXIF:     Aperture Priority, Evaluative Metering, EV +2/3, 1/200 sec, F/5.0, ISO-200, 72 mm (115 mm equivalent)
Camera/Lens:     Canon EOS 350D Digital Rebel XT, Sigma 55-200mm f/4-5.6
Location:     Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, PA
Notes:     This is another of my favorite photos from the Philly photoblogger shoot on Saturday evening. It's the inner wall of a fountain just north of the Fairmount Water Works. I don't think I've quite got the processing right on this, but it's close.

(I also wish I paid attention to the plane at which I was placing this wall - the depth of field is too shallow. Ah, but maybe that just gives the illusion that this is a looong tall wall. Well, at least it's cool in the thumbnail.)

That is so cool. Do you know what the chemical explanation is for that? I mean, I assume the green is from the copper of the fountain, but what's the brick red from? The little plants are great, too.
