Manatee Nose

EXIF:     Aperture Priority, Pattern Metering, EV 0, 1/25 sec, F/5.0, ISO-100, 44 mm (70 mm equivalent)
Camera/Lens:     Canon EOS 350D Digital Rebel XT, Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Location:     Blue Spring State Park, Orange City, FL
Notes:     Today I thought I'd show you what we really went to Blue Spring State Park to see - the manatees. When the temperature drops in Florida (from balmy to rather pleasant) the manatees head to the springs to hang out in the warmer water.

I actually didn't take thousands of pictures of the manatees myself because I was playing with a medium format camera, and so I handed my dSLR to my husband. He is so funny when I give him the camera because even though he usually seems completely disinterested in taking pictures, he springs to action and takes even more pictures than I usually do. He also starts boasting about the amazing shots he's getting, like catching a hawk eating a lizard. If he lets me, I will post some of them here.

I'm pretty sure I took this one, but I'm sure he'll correct me if I'm wrong.
