Schuylkill River Bridges

EXIF:     Manual, Pattern Metering, EV 0, 1/100 sec, F/8, ISO-100, 55 mm (88 mm equivalent), slightly cropped
Camera/Lens:     Canon EOS 350D Digital Rebel XT, Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Location:     Schuylkill River Bridges (Walnut Street, Market Street, and Chestnut Street), Philadelphia, PA
Notes:     Yesterday was cool and overcast, and I even debated bringing my camera outside. But then I gave myself the challenge of coming back with two photos from the walk. This and the one on my black and white photoblog are those two pictures, the only ones I took.

I did some post processing on this one to bring out some colors and brighten the scene a bit.

I like this composition a lot. And whatever you did to make the green show up in the picture was good to add just enough color to an otherwise neutral picture. The colors are nicely understated, and the forms are strong. Beautiful!

I also think the composition is wonderful. I would have prefered a polarizer insted of the processing - it looks like flourescent light.

A much more original view of Philly than the pics I've taken. What a great photo!
