Disco BallJuly 12, 2006

Disco Ball

EXIF:     Aperture Priority, Pattern Metering, EV 0, 1/40 sec, F/5.6, ISO-800, 54 mm (86 mm equivalent)
Camera/Lens:     Canon EOS 350D Digital Rebel XT, Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Location:     Berlin, Germany
Notes:     This disco ball was hanging over a dance floor area at the Fan Mile in Berlin (which began at the Brandenberg Gate). The green colors are trees to one side, the orange panels are giant two or three story Mastercard boards (set up as "designated meeting places" but I think they were also just advertisements), and I think the giant blue rectangle is the back of one of the huge screens they set up for the fans to watch the soccer games. And that black spot in the center might be my camera! At night, after the games were over, they turned this area into an impromptu dance club.
