Golden Gate Bridge Silhouette

Notes:     Shooting into the sun and underexposing by two stops creates a silhouette of one of the towers of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Unbelievably, all three of these photos were taken within the same 45 minute span on the bay cruise: clear blue skies over San Francisco, late afternoon on Alcrataz with dark clouds, and this one looking back at the Golden Gate in silhouette against the late afternoon sky.

Location:     San Francisco, California
Camera:     Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel, Sigma 55-200mm f/4-5.6
EXIF:     1/3200 sec, F/8.0, 200 mm (320 mm equivalent), ISO-100, EV -2
