San Francisco bluffs

Notes:     These bluffs are just to the east of the Golden Gate Bridge. We'd been taking pictures of the bridge through the rain (see this photo), watching it appear and disappear as the fog rolled by. I was just being coaxed to leave by the others I was with who can apparently feel things like rain and cold (I am usually the biggest baby about being cold and wet, but put a camera in my hands and I become immune to things like freezing hands and toes) and as I turned to walk away I caught sight of this. I snapped a couple of photos before I realized that even Chiaroscuro and Visual Field had had enough of the weather and wanted to get back to the car.

I was just simply awed by the California landscape. As much as I enjoy a good dingy city like New York, I have to say that I was really impressed by the beauty of San Francisco.

Location:     San Francisco, California

Another really nice one. Looks like the highlights in sky are a little clipped. You might be able to squeeze some more dynamic range out of the original raw file.
