Obelix, it's not a new camera. :( Everyone keeps saying that though, so I guess people notice what I'm shooting with! But it's just a loaner from Chiaroscuro. One day I will get a dSLR, and I hope that day is not too far off, but I am currently between a dissertation and a job right and can't afford it. I am fortunate that Chiaroscuro was willing to lend me her older Rebel while she used her newer 5D! And no, I'm not in the Bay Area any more. It was just a short 3-day trip. Though with all the photos I took while we were there, it probably looks like we were there for a week! I completely forgot you lived in the Bay Area.
