San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge

Notes:     We arrived in San Francisco late in the afternoon, after having been bumped off our early morning flight. (We were lured to volunteer to give up our seats by the promise of a free flight voucher.)

Before heading out for dinner, we headed down to the Embarcadero Ferry Terminal to take a look at the Bay Bridge. It's actually three bridges in one: two suspension bridges on the San Francisco side and one cantilever bridge on the Oakland side.

Location:     Bay Bridge, viewed from the Embarcadero Ferry Terminal, San Francisco, California
Camera:     Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel, Sigma 55-200mm f/4-5.6
EXIF:     1/500 sec, F/4.0, 55 mm (88 mm equivalent), ISO-100

Congrats on your new camera!

And are you still in Bay Area?

Obelix, it's not a new camera. :( Everyone keeps saying that though, so I guess people notice what I'm shooting with! But it's just a loaner from Chiaroscuro.

One day I will get a dSLR, and I hope that day is not too far off, but I am currently between a dissertation and a job right and can't afford it. I am fortunate that Chiaroscuro was willing to lend me her older Rebel while she used her newer 5D!

And no, I'm not in the Bay Area any more. It was just a short 3-day trip. Though with all the photos I took while we were there, it probably looks like we were there for a week!

I completely forgot you lived in the Bay Area. You've been doing so many macros lately, it can be hard to tell where you are!
