Until I took this photo, I also never looked closely enough at dandelions to appreciate them, but now I think they're actually quite pretty. Maybe they're a little too bold for their own good, and their rough stems and leaves give them a harsh appearance. But if you look at the flowers close up, they're actually rather delicate.
