oooh, I really like this one. did you make the ropes sepia-ish?

Not exactly. I used this technique (only steps 1 - 11) for the effect. I think the color you're talking about is from the vignetting. It's obvious in the corners, but it's all there all around the sides, so it affects the top of the ropes.

Wonderful effect. I really love the simplicity of the shot.

Thanks for the pointer to the technique. I'll have to give it a try.

Yes, thanks for the link on the technique. Very nice shot!

This is a great use of the Lomo effect. I love the simplicity of the shot and how it creates a strong feeling of winter.

Agreed, the simplicity of this shot is what makes it. Great stuff!

Awesome processing. I love the subtle tones. I may have to go find some swing now :)

Simple yet so effective. Terrific shot!

. . . and there are so many other things to like, too, like the texture of the ropes, and the barely green of the grass.

This is brilliant, it almost looks staged, like it isn't real. Very interesting shot and well done!

Wow, such a simple but great photograph. I can see it hanging on a wall somewhere. Congratulations.

I love the simplicity of this one - there is such power here in its ability to trigger all sorts of beautiful memories in me ...
