The TempleOctober 11, 2005

Location:     Kyoto, Japan
Camera:     Canon PowerShot Pro1
EXIF:     1/60 sec, F/3.5, 51 mm
Notes:     The stereotype of Japanese tourists descending en masse upon a spot, wielding giant cameras certainly didn't make itself up! I had just bought my Canon PowerShot Pro1 and it was simply dwarfed by all the giant cameras and lenses that the Japanese were toting around. Still, I felt much less self-conscious about taking pictures there than I often do here.

I wish I could tell you the name of the building they're taking a picture of, but I saw so many temples that I just can't remember the name of it. Anyway, isn't it better left to the imagination?

This was taken on my trip to Kyoto last November.

Very nice colors captured here. And them all setting up to take their own pics just makes it all that more amusing.

Hello, World Traveller!

Now, that is one country in the world where you will NEVER be harrassed for being a street photographer.
