Leg WarmersJune 09, 2005

Location:     Tokyo, Japan
Camera:     Canon PowerShot S30
EXIF:     1/15 sec, F/3.5, 12 mm
Notes:     I took this photo in Japan, if that's not already obvious from the school girl outfit with low scrunched leg warmers. I'm really happy with the way this one turned out, particularly because the effect of motion is exactly what I was trying to achieve. I think it looks like a happy mistake, but really, I did this on purpose!

(Incidentally, I know my archives are way outdated. I need to do something about that. I've been doing them manually because I can't automatically pull together my color and my black and white photos since they're from two separate blogs. But really, who cares if I have separate archives! I just need to fix my template. I promise to do it soon... ish.)

Very good, good shot. The motion is captured perfectly, and the motion blurred pavement conjures to make a nice textured background. It really speaks about Japan (the one of their "anime") without being a "clique'".

Lovely blur.

Oh, this is an old photo. From 2003!

I usually mention that kind of thing. Sorry, I forgot!

Though I do wish I was in Japan at the moment...
