80 GBMarch 30, 2005

Location:
Camera:     Canon PowerShot S30
EXIF:
Notes:     I am rather disappointed with this photo, mainly because I had a really close macro in mind when I tried to shoot this. Unfortunately, I was working with my PowerShot S30, and I can't get any closer than this. I do miss my Pro 1 and hope that Canon returns it soon (in working condition this time, please!).

However, in spite of the fact that I don't like how this photo turned out, it does not represent disappointment to me. In fact, what you are looking at is my new laptop hard drive. (The green one on the right is new hard drive; the blue one on the left is the old one.) It was so tiny and cute that I had to photograph it.

I am really happy to have my laptop working again. In the end, I'm glad the culprit of my problem was the hard drive, because it was easy enough to replace and surprisingly inexpensive. And now, I can hardly believe that I can now hold 80 GB worth of photos on my laptop! I was so excited that the first software I installed on it was Photoshop CS.

Congrats on the new hard drive! I've totally been there and man, does it feel good to get a computer fixed and working again ;-)

No geek warning on this post?!?! *drools* Makes me want to start pulling parts out of my Powerbook just to see how small and cute they are! O_o
I like the composition and DOF on this one too btw ;-)

i continue to be amazed at how much data is being crammed into these little units. i bought a 160gb drive about 6 months back and i'm starting to run out of space now with all those photographs i've been shooting.

I like this photo. It's funny, I sell these things (and RAM) on eBay for a living and I didn't even know what it was at first, lol.

My favorite thing about this photo is how you framed, the line/angle into the picture really adds to the composition. Nicely done!

To me, this is a nice shot. I like how busy it is, the clutter. And the color contrast is very good. macro-micro.blogspot.com

dont be - i like it. it could have probbaly used a contrast adjustment or probably more light - but the composition is cool!
