"this shot was taken from the base of the arch in st. louis. the day i was there, the sky was clear and blue, and i took tons of photos - i just couldn't get over how many great angles there were. normally when i reduce an image to post it on the web, the last thing i do is use unsharp mask on it, just to heighten the contrast a bit, but i purposely didn't do that with this photo because i love the way the sky kind of melts into the arch in the center of the frame."

Excellent composition, with the acute angles juxtaposed against the sweeping arch. An interesting use of silver morphing into azure blue. Very talented to produce this imagery. This artist probably has had advanced training--I hope we see more!
