i am loving this! it is so sharp which definitely is what makes this photo. the details are so interesting and if it had not been so sharp, it would lose its impact. the flower reflections in the window are amazing! Posted by: Benny at January 30, 2005 01:29 AM
I love all the lines in the picture, and how they're arranged. It definitely wouldn't be as interesting without those pipes at the bottom. The textures and colors are great too. I'm glad you finally posted this one, because its another one of my favorites of yours. Posted by: Chiaroscuro at January 30, 2005 09:22 AM
wow! the textures, the colours... wonderful capture. the glass seems so clean on an otherwise broken and old window. Posted by: frisky? at January 30, 2005 03:15 PM
Beautiful, it has a lovely painterly feel to it and the reflections in the window really make the shot, both color and shape-wise. Well spotted! Posted by: Carlo Ferroni at January 30, 2005 06:27 PM
I love old windows. This one has a nice combination of colors and subtle reflections to add interest. Would it be even better if the perspective was corrected, such as you would do with a large format camera lens or by tilting the easel in a darkroom (to correct the converging lines)? I'm not good at this digitally, but it might make it even better. A beautiful picture that would show nicely in a portfolio of old doors and window shots. Congratulations. That redish reflection in the bottom of the window really completes this photo. Great colors. Posted by: matt at January 30, 2005 11:24 PM

HI ! :-D I have just had a little crazy idea : "the 36 strainers project" (see my blog). My goal is also, by the way, to make discover others blogs to my usual visitors. It's great fun ! Please take part ! PS : excuse my poor english. A bientôt ? Posted by: nellooo at February 1, 2005 10:59 AM
Great for me. The window, the reflect, the colors, the frame, the composition. GREAT. I like this shot a lot. S. Posted by: Sakana at February 4, 2005 08:03 PM
Nice shot. I normally don't think much of simple subjects like windows and such, but the colors, texture and glass in this one all works together. By the way, it may be just me (or my browser) but a little white-space on the left side of the comment area would make this page more readble. Posted by: Matt at February 4, 2005 09:59 PM
