I love the gritty detail of this one! The color works well. Posted by: Mc at January 6, 2005 09:40 PM
I think that the DOF drops off so dramatically because I was taking the photo straight at the front of the brick, so there really isn't any room for it to recede gradually! Did you see this photo I posted on my black and white photoblog? Is that more like what you were thinking? I think the DOF drops off dramatically there too (but less so than in the color photo)...that's because I was using the super macro feature on my camera and the DOF is tiny!) Love the texture and colors. Cool shot kind of leaves you questioning what the whole brick wall looks like Posted by: Dan at January 7, 2005 01:25 PM
That's spectacular detail. It's amazing how we can walk on something everyday, and not realize how intricate it really is. I guess that's why photography is such a great medium. Cool shot. Posted by: matt at January 8, 2005 10:33 PM
Great DOF, I like it! S. Posted by: Sakana at January 10, 2005 07:13 PM
Wow the DOF recedes so quickly it hurts my eyes! I like that. :) Posted by: kendall at January 10, 2005 09:33 PM

This is great in its simplicity. Love the textures and the DoF. Excellent. Posted by: RainKing at January 11, 2005 05:48 AM
