Lily FlowerMarch 20, 2007

EXIF:     Aperture Priority, Pattern Metering, EV +2/3, 1/30 sec, F/16.0, ISO-100, 55 mm (88 mm equivalent)
Camera/Lens:     Canon EOS 350D Digital Rebel XT, Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Location:     Baltimore, MD
Notes:     On the Johns Hopkins University campus there is a small man-made pond that is filled with lily pads, and in the spring and summer, pink lily flower blooms. Soon after getting my new camera last year I went out to take some pictures and got into all kinds of positions taking photos low to the ground (with a little tripod) or leaning over the water. Shortly afterwards I ran into someone who saw me with my camera, put two and two together, and asked, was that you out there on the ground? Ah, the things I will do for a photo.

Johns Hopkins in the spring is truly lovely; I wish I could go back this spring. Great shot; I love that pond!
