flower trio



Notes:     The lavender color of the flowers against the dark green background made this a really pleasant black and white conversion. The sepia toning was added to give the image some overall warmth.

great toning! i always love to come here and check both of your photoblogs...the color and the b&w. Does this lens really focus this close or is this cropped in? Love the pleasing DOF!

Mark, the lens really does focus this close! I don't know what the magnification factor is because Canon doesn't publish it for this lens for some reason, but it lets me get sufficiently close to most things.
