splashing raindrop

Notes:     A fast shutter speed (the maximum on the Digital Rebel) and relatively high ISO freezes this splashing raindrop at the foot of a lion scultpure in front of a temple in San Francisco's Chinatown.

I left the 50/1.4 lens on all day, in part because it was raining and I'm not terribly adept at switching lens while managing an umbrella, a bag, a camera, and lenses and simultaneously trying to keep everything dry. But also because it's really fun to shoot at 1.4. :)

Location:     San Francisco, California
Camera:     Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel, Canon EF 50mm f/1.4
EXIF:     1/4000 sec, F/1.4, 50 mm (80 mm equivalent), ISO-400, EV -1 2/3
