Rain Over the Golden GateApril 17, 2006

Rain over the Golden Gate Bridge

Notes:     I couldn't have been more pleased to view the Golden Gate Bridge through this quintessential San Francisco rain.

This is the full image, but do you think it would have more impact if I cropped away some of the empty space at the top and to the right? Or does the emptiness contribute to the composition?

Location:     Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, California
Camera:     Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel, Sigma 18-50mm f/3.5-5.6
EXIF:     1/3 sec, F/22, 18mm (29 mm equivalent), ISO-100, EV +1

Very nice and moody...I think I like this one the best in your SF series. What I like the most about it is actually not the rain drops, but the blur of the grasses blowing in the wind. I like the space on the right. If anything, I would be tempted to crop a little off the top and left side.
