Notes:     This photo was taken by my friend TC, who shot a series in his neighborhood. He'd asked me to give him some Photoshop tips and as we were going through his recent photos, this one really caught my eye and I asked if I could post it here. Hope you like it too!

See TC's other photo today on my color photoblog.

Like your friends shot. This is a stoop with character. There is so much I want to know about the people who live there. What are all the gadgets on the wall and the wires for? Hanging laundry? The porch makes me think of people who are just doing the best they can to make due with whatever life throws at them. Looks like a childs beach pail in the corner...that makes it even more poignant. Oh... I just noticed something else. Is that a kitty or doggy door? They love their animals:)--- I know I get carried away... could also be a serial killer lives there. :) Anyway, thanks for making me look and think tc.
