Fantastic photograph! I love the way you comosed the tree in the frame. Great contrast with the black and white!

I never would have tried this in B&W for some reason (one being that I'm just not used to it) but I really like the result here. Cool perspective as well. It's as if the branches are reaching for the clouds!

Sara, there are so many photos I never would have tried in black and white if I hadn't started this photoblog specifically to get myself to try it. I have discovered that often my first intuitions about what photos will work well in b&w isn't always right and I'm usually surprised by what works!
