The Gates in Black and White, IIMarch 01, 2005

Location: Turtle Pond, Central Park, New York, NY

I'm trying to be fair to my black and white photoblog here, but unfortunately, most of the photos I took of the Gates look much better in color. It was a gorgeous day when I was there and the punches of orange throughout the park were really fantastic. I like this one in black and white, but I really love it in color. Please take a look!

I was just admiring this photo, then as I read about the other version so I looked and I too love the colour version but for different reasons. If I had to choose, I'd go for the b&w. The b&w tones make it more interesting.
