I like the DOF in this shot, works perfectly. The detail in the cracked texture of the layers of paint is wonderful as well. Makes me want to peel that top layer off and find out what colors are underneath =)

There is definitely more paint than metal! I like the way you composed the image, giving the hook the right relevance but still retaining in focus the textures of the wall.
