Before reading the comments, my first thought was "needs more contrast". Looking further, the snow is pushed at its limit and the bricks looks really nice tonally. Maybe you should explore Anand's suggestion and see what happens. Don't take these comments the wrong way, I really enjoyed this composition and find it worthy of hanging on a wall.

Anand and Mark - I had the same thought you did, but this seemed to be as far as I could push the contrast without losing detail. Maybe what I should try is adjusting the contrast only on selected areas, so I can "save" the areas that are already at their limit? I'll give it a try and post the result once I'm done... Thanks for your suggestions!
