Oh, wow, what a fantastic picture. Having the grandfather in this picture really makes this so unique. I wish for his sake that you could send it to him...Did they know you were taking it? Posted by: ianqui at December 3, 2004 11:17 AM
No, they didn't know. I was using my zoom lens, so it's possible they didn't know. Then again, I was the only gaijin in this playground, so perhaps I did stand out and they just didn't care! :) Anyway, I don't know who this is so I can't send it to him. It's too bad. You're right. He'd probably like this shot. Posted by: tamara at December 3, 2004 11:36 AM
Too bad you missed the "family" challenge. Posted by: chiaroscuro at December 3, 2004 03:39 PM

Amazing photo! You captured the real emotions of your subjects. The composition of the slide is also fantastic! Your photos move me! :-) The grandpa would definitely treasure this one! Posted by: Litratista at December 6, 2004 12:40 PM
Joe started laughing when I showed him this picture - because they just look so happy. I think this is my new favorite of yours. Posted by: joan&joe at December 8, 2004 10:33 PM
